Florida DBPR Approved Food Handler Certification


Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM)

CFPM/Food Manager Certification is required in Florida for not only food handlers and food service workers, but also for anyone who manages a business in which food is served. Division of Hotels and Restaurants Florida Statute 509.039 requires certification of all food service managers who are responsible for the storage, preparation, display, or serving foods to the public requires that all food establishments – including food trucks and other mobile vendors – have a certified manager on duty at all times.

Spring Training administers National Registry of Food Safety Professionals exam that provides you with personal certification for your managers responsible for food safety. The Food Safety Manager Certification is what sets you apart and certification is valid for 5 years and is nationally recognized.

•  Onsite Manager Review Class (Includes paper study guide and online Manager Study Course). Spring Training will come to your establishment or individuals can attend a public class

•  Exam- Conducted onsite which can be taken on scantron or over the computer.  Available in English, Spanish, and Chinese

• Certified Food Protection Manager certificate – valid for 5 years
